B.S.CHUMBAK
- Mr. B.S. Chumbak was born on 10 September, 1955 and brought up in Haryana. He did his schooling from Govt. High School, Gubhana Haryana. He joined Medical College of Rohtak, Punjab University, Chandigarh and completed his Diploma for Pharmacy in the year 1973. Then in the month of January, 1974, he joined services as a Pharmacist in the Health Department of Municipal Corporation of Delhi. During service, he completed his Graduation from Punjab University, Chandigarh as a private candidate. His attachment with social science and law inspired him to join LL.B. and accordingly, he completed LL.B. from Law Centre-II (Evening Law College), Delhi University, Delhi in the year 1986 and enrolled as an advocate in the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 1989. During continuation of his service in the year 1989, I qualified “Legal Assistant Departmental Examination” conducted by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and worked as Legal Assistant (Taxes) and LA Headquarter in Law Department of MCD. He was selected in the Delhi Judicial Services in the year 1992. He worked as Metropolitan Magistrate, Civil Judge and Additional Rent Controller. Thereafter, he was promoted to Delhi Higher Judicial Services in the month of January 2006. He worked as Additional District Judge [Land Acquisition Cases (LAC)] , Additional Sessions Judge (MCOCA Court), Presiding Officer [Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT), Presiding Officer in Labor Court and after completion of his service, he retired on 30th September 2015.
- He worked as Chairperson, Permanent Lok Adalat-II, situated at Mata Sundari Lane, New Delhi after his retirement from 07.11.2016 17.09.2020. He has been assisting SIAACBC by giving his valuable suggestion as Member of Advisory Board of AABC Law Reporter.
