Dr. A.R Joshi
Dr. A. R. Joshi was born on 05/08/1954 in Mujafarnagar (U.P). His journey in education began with primary schooling at Village level and then Shahdara Delhi, followed by middle education at Shahdara, Delhi. He pursued his High School at Sh. C. L International College, Kandhla, Mujafarnagar, and intermediate education at Ghaziabad,. Subsequently, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Meerut University, Meerut from, and pursued his LL.B. degree from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. Furthering his education, he completed his PGDM & IR From DAV College of Management, Communication & Educational Administration, Chandigarh, and earned a Ph.D. in Social Issue & Social Development from Commonwealth Vocational University, Kingdom of Tonga.
His professional journey is characterized by diverse roles and experiences. He began his career with Indian Air Force in 1971 during Indo-Pak war, where he served 15 Years. And there after he joined Transport Department of Delhi Government and there served 21 years and take VRS in 2008 from the Post of RTO Delhi. And during his stay in service, he has earned lot of award/ appreciations and Laurels from Various Dignities during service. During service I was also involved in various social activities in that he joined the Samta Sainik Dal in 1987 which was formed and established by our great Philosopher and the Architect of Indian Constitution Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in 1924. And All India confederation of SC/ST Govt. Employee in 1999. And remained as Chief Patron more than 15 years. In Samta Sainik Dal he remained as National President twice and a Chief Whip for 12 year and Chief Patron 6 year, and now again he is giving his services in the organisation as Chief Whip. As National President in 2012.
He was awarded Dr. Ambedkar Ratan Award in 2002 by Delhi Govt and Dr. Ambedkar Ratan National Award by Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry of Government of India given by His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the then President of India in 2017.
He remained Chief Patron of all India Govt. Employees Federation of SC’s and ST’s. From 1996 to till date; National President of Samta Sainik Dal for 10 years which was founded by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in (1924) and presentely Chief Whip of SSD.
His career embodies a commitment to public service, social justice, and active participation in both professional and Social/political spheres. The multifaceted experiences and recognitions showcase a dynamic and impactful professional journey and meaningful engagement in the Social landscape. His multifaceted contributions have left a lasting impact on various social causes and the dynamic realm of politics. He along with his team had played Vital Role in various social atrocities meted to the SC, STs state-wise as follows:
RAJASTHAN –
- Kumbher Incident in Bharatpur
- Rajasthan Kumher incident of Bharatpur Where house of SCs were burnt in a mass torture perpetuated by anti-social elements.
- Dangwas Village in Nagour
- Delta Megwal incident in Barmer
- Neeta Megwal, Village Geary in Pali
- Vill-Badukohtri, Dist Bhilwara
- Indra Meghwal, a student of a private school in Jalore district’s Surana village, was beaten by his teacher.
UP STATE –
- Hastinapur in Meerut district incident,
- Panwari incident in In 1990
- District Saharanpur Incident
- Jewar incident in Gautam Budh Nagar
- Kambakshpur Village in Gautam Budh Nagar: where the land of poor SCs were grabbed by the local
- Bareilly incident
- Dankor incident in Distt. Bulandsher.
- Sharanpur Distt. Famous incident where 58 houses of SC’s were burnt and ranscked their houses and bruitly beaten False cases were registered.
- Geja village in Gautam Budh Nagar where mass-scale arrests were made to protest unlawful encroachment and the lands of SCs by goons and anti-social
- Dhankar village in Ghaziabad were SCs men and women were paraded naked by the police of the Dhankar.
HARYANA –
- Village Dulina (Gurgaon) were 5 Dalit Businessmen killed by Local Police in 2004.
- Gohana, distt Sonipat where more than 100 SC Houses set on fire and destroyed by the anti-social element in 2005 and incidence report submitted in Lok Sabha.
- Sunped village in Faridabad Distt. where SCs two person were killed and burnt by sprinkling Petrol by miscreants.
- Famous Mirchipur Kand – where 20 people have been sentenced by a Court of Law. More than 150 Dalit houses were set on fire and brutally beaten and forced them to leave the
- Tigaon village in Faridabad
Sh. K. R. Naranyan Honble President of India was pleased to Inaugurate Rath for social harmony which was started from Ambedkar Bhawan and cover North India States. The same Rath and Yatra were managed with Some Bodh Monks in Five States in 2001 to 2002. And another Rath Yatra for spreading and teaching about the Buddhism and Samrat Ashoka. same Rath was brought to the Parliament on 14th April 2016 to pay the tribute to Baba Sahib. The said Rath was continued for more than Two year to all over the country to spread the ideology of Baba Saheb Dr. B. R. Ambadkar i.e. Equality, Liberty, Fraternity among the society.
We also organized along with teammates a International Dalit conference on 24 February 2013 in Talkatora Indoor stadium, under the banner of All India SC & ST confederation and Samta Sainik Dal. The same was inaugurated by the then Union Home Minister Sh. Sushil Kumar Shinde Ji and Former Hon’ble CJI Sh. K.G. Balakrishan Ji has also grace the occasion with many more VIPs. Where more than 11 Foreign social activist representatives participated.
He was honoured to be a part of SIAACBC & AABC and work for upliftment of under privileged people, more specially against the atrocities mated out to the SC/ST by the anti-social elements and look forward to collaborating with fellow members in advancing our shared objectives. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of downtrodden.
In conclusion, his extensive service experience, commitment, and dedication towards to social causes, and active involvement towards organisation reflect his dedication to public service. He is confident that his passion, along with a strong belief in the Baba Saheb’s ideology, will make a significant and positive impact. He is eager to bring his skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to further enhance the organisation objectives.
