TEJ SINGH VARUN

Shri T S Varun was born on 20th January 1963 in a family having its origin in District Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He is fully dedicated to the downtrodden people and inspired by his Grandfather Late Shri Gordhan Dass, Ex-Municipal Commissioner, who was a freedom fighter and participated in social and political activism of Bhartiya Jan Sangh Party.
His qualification is B.A., LL.B. He has been an active journalist for last 25 years. He started as Editor Prateek Times (Hindi) in 1984, worked as free-lance journalist from 1985 to 1988 for Punjab Kesari, Jansatta and Nav Bharat Times from 1989 to 1999. He was Delhi Bureau Chief of HINT Hindi Newspaper. He was Accredited Correspondent of Press Information Bureau from 1992 to 1999. He has also done work for some TV serials and news-based films. He is Legal Advisor of Creative News (Hindi Monthly News Magazine) published from1991 and have been keeping track of social and political movement in India. He is a member so many organisations and visited many foreign countries.
He wants to strengthen his activities in association of SIAACBC to achieve his aim of all-round development of the country in social and economic fields with particular focus on Dalits, minorities, and women, and in environment improvement, tree-plantation, as well as in micro-credit to the poor, that directly would benefit the needy.
