ASHA RAM SONI

Shri Asha Ram Soni was born on July 30, 1959, in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. His educational journey commenced with primary schooling in his village of Aughti, Baghpat, followed by middle, high school, and intermediate education at MGM Inter College, Dhakauli, Baghpat (UP Board Allahabad). Subsequently, he earned his B.A. from LR P/G College, Sahibabad, and M.A. (Economics) and LL.B. degrees from MMH P/G College, Ghaziabad (Meerut University).
His professional trajectory spans diverse roles and experiences. He initiated his career at the Delhi Electricity Supply Undertaking in 1982, holding various positions until his retirement on July 30, 2019, as AGM (Legal) at Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (formerly DESU/DVB/NDPL). His tenure of service was from June 24, 1982, to July 31, 2019. Post-retirement, he commenced working as a Member in Permanent Lok Adalat-II, DSLSA (under the Administrative Control of the High Court of Delhi).
