DR.T.R. NAVAL
FOUNDER AND CHIEF EDITOR
- DR.T.R. Naval was born on 23 July, 1956. He completed his primary education from his native village Kankarkoi, middle education from village Nelhera Gujjar, High School and Intermediate education from HAV Inter College Saharanpur, B.A. & LL.B. education from J.V. Jain Degree College, Saharanpur (Meerut University, U.P.). He acquired higher education of LL.M. & PH.D (LAW) from Faculty of Law, Delhi University, Delhi. He was awarded medals and certificates by Faculty of Law, Delhi University, Delhi.
- Initially, he served as LCA in Lok Sabha Secretariat, New Delhi from December 1981 to July 1985 and subsequently he joined Delhi Judicial Service (DJS-1984) in July 1985 and acted as Sub-Judge, Metropolitan Magistrate, Presiding Officer Labour Court & Additional Rent Controller. He was promoted in Delhi Higher Judicial Service (DHJS) in the year 2000 and served as Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Sessions Judge, Presiding Officer Labour Court, Additional District Judge, Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Special Judge, {1. Prevention of Corruption Act, 2. The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act), 3. Fast Track Court for Trial of Sexual Offences.} He also worked as Additional Registrar, the Supreme Court of India. (2009-2010). He was promoted as the Principal Judge, Family Court in the month of February, 2014 and as the District and Sessions Judge, District Shahdara, Delhi in the month of January, 2015. He was superannuated on 31st July, 2016. He also served as Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat, Delhi from November, 2016 to date (July 2021). He authored two books, “Law of Prevention of Atrocities on the Schedule Castes and The Schedule Tribes” (2001) And “Legally Combating Atrocities on the Schedule Castes and The Schedule Tribes” (2004) Concept Publishing Company, New Delhi. Before joining service he practiced as an Advocate from December, 1979 to June 1980. He also served as an examiner of University of Delhi and Delhi Development Authority. He also worked as Chairman, Committee for Amendments in High Court Rules & Orders and Chairman and Members of so many other Committees including Recruitment in District Courts, Delhi. He is a trained Judicial Mediator since 2007 and an Arbitrator since 2016. He participated and attended so many Conferences & Workshops. He is the founders of SIAACBC & AABC LAW REPORTER.
- He hopes that SIAACBC & AABC LAW REPORTER may play vital role in helping target group either to save them from commission of atrocities on them and availing the reservations, concessions and all other facilities provided under the Constitution of India, Statutes, Rules, Regulations, Schemes, etc. which may help them to live a dignified life.
